Artist Statement
Earth Pig Pottery is a working studio pottery with ceramics and paintings by Geoff Chilton. His pottery, paintings and prints are inspired by the landscape of the Peak District, Scotland, Pembrokeshire and other wild areas of Britain. His work features textures, forms and patterns of nature, including mammals, birds and sea creatures. His designs are used on pottery, mixed media and oil paintings. Geoff is a former teacher and member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts. He is also part of the Manchester Urban Sketchers group. Pottery classes are offered at the studio and commissions undertaken in both paint and ceramics
