Artist Statement
Based in the Derbyshire hills in the spa town of Buxton. at the bottom of the garden is the workshop know as The Menagerie. A creator of needlefelted animals, flora and fauna, using age old traditional skills. Needlefelting is a process using a barbed needle to sculpt with wool.
Inspired by nature and my love of old vintage children books, The Menagerire is a place full of my creations and vintage curiosities.
