Carly Grice - 14

Carly produces modern, abstract sculptures that are influenced by the dramatic local landscape and her architectural career. Using mallet and chisel she gradually chips away at the stone, the method of carving influencing the final form.

Carly's studio is a self-designed converted outbuilding in Hayfield in the High Peak, Derbyshire, at the foot of Kinder Scout with its unique, inspirational landforms.
