Artist Statement
Having had a long career in graphic design, I have always been an inveterate sketcher and photographer. Over the past few years I have been experimenting with an atmospheric and impressionistic approach to my photography, more akin to drawing and painting than ‘straight’ photography and therefore a combination of both my passions. The techniques I use to obtain the results give me more artistic freedom as well as an enjoyable experience in creating them.
