Artist Statement
I am an artist based in South Derbyshire, specialising in contemporary abstracts and landscape paintings. Since completing my BA in Art and Design in 2007, I have been experimenting with a range of techniques and media and am now producing atmospheric and dramatic abstract paintings using acrylics and pastels. I enjoy the juxtaposition of harsh, dark marks against soft, elegant textures and aim to incorporate this aesthetic in to my work. I sell my paintings at fairs, exhibitions and my website and will always welcome commissions.
