Artist Statement
Whatever the medium; cloth, paper or constructed surfaces, Cass's work is layered and collaged and may incorporate print. The layers may be transparent, broken or cut to reveal what is below. Stitch integrates the surface to give focus. Cass also makes tapestry woven pieces.
